Fairmont Hot Springs
Canada’s largest natural mineral hot pools, with 39°C soaking and mountain views.
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort describes its pools as the largest natural mineral hot pools in Canada, fed by a daily flow of more than 1.2 million gallons of naturally heated, odourless water. Three zones are kept at 39°C (hot soak), 32°C and 30°C (swimming), all overlooking the Columbia Valley and the Purcell Mountains.
The pools are open to day visitors daily from 8am to 10pm, with a discounted late-night soak after 8:30pm. The mineral blend includes calcium bicarbonate, sulphates, silica and potassium — without the sulphur smell many people expect. There are no lifeguards on duty.
