Liard River Hot Springs
A 700-metre boardwalk crosses a warm boreal swamp — moose, orchids and all — before reaching the hand-built decks of the Alpha pool. Canada’s second-largest hot spring, steaming away at historic Mile 496 since long before the highway arrived.
