About Soak BC

A directory built the boring way: from primary sources.

Soak BC exists because hot springs information rots fast. Blogs copy each other, five-year-old posts rank first, and people drive hours to springs that closed last season. We wanted one page per spring with the facts that matter — temperature, fees, road, status — verified against the people who actually manage the place.

Our method: every listing is checked against primary sources — BC Parks and Parks Canada pages and closure orders, Recreation Sites and Trails BC, and the operators’ own published rates. Each page shows when its facts were last verified and links the official source so you can double-check us.

What we don’t do: we don’t copy other directories, we don’t use stock photos of the wrong spring, and we don’t pretend a closed spring is open to farm clicks. When something is closed, that’s the first thing you’ll read.

Spotted an error or a change? Conditions shift constantly and we’d rather fix it today than rank with it wrong. A contact form is coming soon.
