Harrison Hot Springs
The closest mineral soak to Vancouver — lakeside village with a public mineral pool.
Ninety minutes east of Vancouver at the foot of Harrison Lake, Harrison Hot Springs is BC’s most accessible hot springs town. Two source springs — Potash (~40°C) and Sulphur (~65°C) — feed the village’s pools. The Harrison Hot Springs Resort keeps its five mineral pools for hotel guests, but there’s a separate indoor public mineral pool at Hot Springs Road and Esplanade Avenue, kept at a soothing ~38°C.
Admission to the public pool has typically been around $10 for adults; hours vary, so call 604-796-2244 (ext. 5) before you go. The lakefront beach, restaurants and easy trails make it a natural day trip or weekend.
