Sloquet Hot Springs
Steaming cascades spill into riverside rock pools deep in the Lillooet valley.
At Sloquet, a scalding creek tumbles out of the forest and cascades over a small waterfall into a series of rock pools beside Sloquet Creek — the closer to the source, the hotter the water. It’s one of the most atmospheric natural soaks in southwestern BC, especially on a misty morning.
The springs sit within a Recreation Sites and Trails BC campground; a camping fee (cash) includes use of the springs, and day visits are possible. The site is reachable year-round in most conditions, but the long gravel approach demands a sturdy vehicle and patience.
